Frequently asked

Clear answers before the family phones or visits.

Joining, documents, monthly contributions, receipts and claims all need plain language. This page gives families the first answer, then routes them to the office when a human check matters.

FAQ

Joining And Packages

Questions families ask before choosing a package or starting registration.

Can I register online and still visit the office?

Yes. Online registration starts the application and creates a member reference. The office still reviews the details, documents, package rules and first contribution before membership is treated as active.

How do I choose the right package?

Compare who is covered, the monthly contribution, included coffin or casket level, home setup, transport, grocery support, waiting period and optional extras. A consultant should confirm the final package rules before you commit.

Can I add parents, in-laws or extended family?

Some packages allow extended members. The registration flow shows package limits for spouse, children and extended dependants so the office can review the family list clearly.

FAQ

Documents And Review

What the office needs before approving a member record.

Which documents should I prepare?

Prepare the main member ID, proof of address if available, dependant IDs where possible, and any previous policy document if you are moving from another provider.

Does the website verify my ID with Home Affairs?

No. The demo checks South African ID number format only. The office must still review documents and confirm the safest way to handle copies.

What happens after I submit registration?

A member reference is generated and the application is marked as pending office review. Staff can approve, flag for follow-up or reject the application in the dashboard demo.

FAQ

Monthly Contributions And Receipts

How payment records are handled without removing walk-in support.

Can I pay at the office instead of online?

Yes. The public payment page demonstrates online card checkout in sandbox mode. Walk-in cash, office card and EFT payments are captured by staff after office confirmation.

What should I use as the payment reference?

Use the same member reference every month. If the name, package or amount looks wrong, contact the office before starting checkout or paying by EFT.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes. The payment flow generates a receipt record that can be printed or downloaded. The member profile and status page can show the latest receipt and stamp-book entries.

FAQ

Claims And Support

Where families should go when a death is reported or help is urgent.

Who do I contact first when someone passes away?

For a death, collection or urgent claim, call the emergency line first. The contact form is better for follow-ups, package questions, documents and branch visits.

Which claim documents are usually needed?

Prepare the death notice, deceased ID, main member ID, member reference and any supporting documents the office requests. Requirements can differ by package and provider.

Can WhatsApp reminders include personal details?

They should not expose sensitive details. Reminder copy should stay brief, use the member reference carefully and ask the family to contact the office for private information.
